Yes. Multi-tasking. You read right, and that is what I meant. What am I actually talking about? Let me explain, my dear fashion lovers.
I don’t know if it’s about the age we live in or simply fashion being very flexible. But let me tell ya, it’s great!
I bought this dress about 3 years ago and the main reason why me and my mum bought this was because of my dancing lessons at school. The ones you have when you are in the second year of your studies at high school. At least that is what we get here, in the Czech Republic. Yes, 50% a magical time full of learning new dancing skills but also 50% time of being stressed you have nothing to wear, right ladies? This dress was my emergency choice after spending hours in the shopping centre where there was nothing worth mentioning because it didn’t pass the test of 3 rules: good-looking, elegant & comfortable at the same time. Yup, crazy.
However, this was my choice then, and the funny part is that I didn’t even really like it. I said, fine I will wear it probably once. Well, very very very wrong. I have worn this dress SO MANY times that I can’t even count it. Every time when I had nothing to wear for a specific situation this dress was my choice , always. And why? Because it can be worn in absolutely any way you can think of. And here I come to the word ‘multi-tasking’. I wear it when I need something very elegant, with heels on. I wear it when I need something casual for a day out with friends, with sandals and trendy bag. And I wear it when I need something quite sporty, with backpack & platform sneakers. See? I told you.
I have no idea what is it. The lace on the back, the short sleeves, the shape? Or maybe the material, which is some kind of combination, that gives you the elegant yet casual feeling. I very recommend to give a chance to pieces like this.
Thank you for stopping by, it means the world to me.
