The Immortal Black & White Combo

Black & white are said to be the colours you would never be out of place with.

If you can’t decide what to wear because you feel like no colour suits you at the moment, you end up with white or black and at the end of the day it usually turns out to be the best option. These two colours are known as basics of the basics. But I am asking why? Why exactly these and not, for instance, red or blue?

Why is black & white the immortal combination of all time?

The thing is, and the point I mean, is that black/white picture means that there are no colours in there. If you see black and white you are said to be colourblind. That sounds very interesting to me, I must say.

And what is also interesting? And kind of funny as well. The fact that I have never thought about that before. Since I have started writing Stylemotivations I have been made to think about lot of things. Things that would never cross my mind otherwise. And I am very grateful for that because it gives you a great number of new windows opened where you can find new interesting opinions and that helps you grow. Sometimes it’s necessary to think about the most basic things and don’t take them for granted, you know.

The black and white duo has always been here and always will. However, on the other hand, I feel like the time has arrived when there are other different beautiful colours, not replacing but being a company to the ‘not-colourful-yet-colours’ duo, such as beige or any other nude colour. That is the palette I personally like. Those are my go-to options which go with almost everything.

What do you thing about colours & the fact that white and black are seen as non-colours?

Have a lovely day/night, world!

with big love,
