We all know it. I believe everyone has ever said this curse…
I have NOTHING to wear.
Closet full of stuff and lack of space already, but simply no pieces worth putting on. How is that even possible? If we own so much clothing, how can we not have any options? It really disturbs my mind and every time this happens to me I ask myself that question. But it just happens. We happen to be too picky. That certainly is the key problem.
That is what other people would say: “You are simply too choosy. Just put on what you have!” And it really is true. On the other hand, for me, personally, clothes is about fashion, fashion is about creating your own personal style, and finding your own personal style means expressing who you are. And that is super important as well. And that is why you have to compromise. You have to make the most of what you have. Be creative.
It’s called minimal wardrobe. Minimal wardrobe is a well-known and nowadays very popular way how to organise your wardrobe + something I have been working on for the past year, without even realising it. Basically, you only buy those statement pieces you know you will wear forever and which will never go out of style. When you are deciding whether to buy it or not to buy it, make sure you will fall in love with it over and over again. That is why I take to the nude & neutral palette so much. The magic is that if you buy the basic pieces for the base, like denim, black & white sweaters, nude heels etc., it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to stick to that and be ‘that boring’ every single day. You can easily add some more trending purse, shoes or just massive earrings and it immediately gets a brand new atmosphere. Be classic with the basics, and braver with the accessory. That is how the magic happens.

So when the ‘nothing-to-wear’ type of day strikes again, this is my go-to look I know I would never go wrong with. Denim, black top (tip: sleeveless tops always make everything more chic), classic bag and sandal heels. It’s classy, suitable for almost every situation and with well-chosen desing and cut it won’t ever be boring, trust me.
I hope you enjoyed, and good luck with the neverending battle, my dear fashion lovers! 🙂
